This is the first major re-write of the ruralfree.org site - I expect to continue adding photo galleries and writing, so check here often.

Welcome to RuralFree.org

A collection of photo galleries and writings, ranging from around 1960 to the present. Currently there is a strong emphasis on digital photos due to the ease with which they can be edited and displayed on the web.

I have just begun getting high-quality scans from my 4X5 Ektachromes, and hope to be able add many more, as well as some of the thousands of 35mm slides taken over the years.
